Nuts about Rice
We boast a five-squirrel ranking according to Jon’s World o’ Squirrels website. The campus squirrel listings states, “The quality of an institution of higher learning can often be determined by the size, health, and behavior of the squirrel population on campus.” We think our squirrels are on to something.
Visit Rice

Explore Rice

The Office of Admission is hosting two on-campus programs for prospective students and their families this fall. Details about the programs are listed below.

The Explore Rice programs will provide the opportunity for high school students to meet Rice students, faculty, and staff and to explore what makes Rice distinctive. Attendees will also have the chance to learn about the variety of academic and extracurricular programs available and attend sessions on campus support services, experiential learning, or financing your education. These programs are designed especially for high school juniors and seniors.

View the Explore Rice tentative schedule.

Sunday, September 13, 2009: Program for Houston-area students (zip codes 77000-77599).

Sunday, October 4, 2009: Program for students from outside the Houston area (i.e., out of state, international, and other Texas areas). At this time, we are no longer accepting registrations for this event. Please consider visiting Rice at a later date.

If you are not able to attend Explore Rice, we encourage you to visit campus at another time.
