Held during the Advanced Placement Summer Institute, the Academies offer teachers the opportunity to master content in their fields. Composed of presentations by faculty from Rice University and other institutions of higher education, the Academies are facilitated by lead consultants who work with the university faculty to facilitate conversations that help participants incorporate content into their classroom. The Academies are endorsed by the College Board and have been recognized by the Texas High School Project as an Exemplar Program.
