A “tubular” world record
Students, faculty, and staff worked together to build a 1,181-foot nanotube, the world’s largest. A representative from Guinness World Records was on hand to witness the feat. Following its assembly, a 400-foot segment of the model was carried across the street to the Houston Museum of Natural Science for future display.
