College Masters

Steeped in the traditions at Oxford and Cambridge, college masters bring a different focus to student life at Rice. The masters are faculty members that serve as an important part of their residential colleges by living in residences close to the dorms. Their duties are to cultivate a variety of cultural and intellectual interests among the students.

College Associates

The residential associates are faculty and staff members of the Rice community that participate in the residential college’s activities and discussions. The associates provide both academic expertise and support as well as real-world experiences to share with the students.
